ABOUT
About me - Alexandra, founder of NATURSTUECK
Hi,
I am Alexandra - designer, happy mum of three little girls and completely in love with wool and all things handmade.
I love knitting, creating a cozy home and spending time in nature. Most of all, I love designing knitting patterns for babys, toddlers and children (patterns for teens will come as my own kids grow).
As a child, I spent most of my time knitting little items like scarves, hats or blankets for myself and my beloved dolls and cuddly toys.
When my first daughter was born, I rediscovered knitting and fell in love with slow, mindful knitting and creating pieces made of simple stitches and natural wool. At first, I sold my knitted newborn and baby outfits, but because I was often asked to share my designs I have decided to make them available to other knitters.
As a knitting mum, I wanted to create patterns that are easy to knit in between or in quiet evenings - without too much stitch counting - but still with a beautiful result. My designs are easy to put on, almost seamless with a comfortable fit.
My timeless patterns are detailed and beginner-friendly, with easy-to-follow instructions and lots of step-by-steps photos.
I would love to inspire you to create hand-knitted baby and kids' clothes that become little treasures - lovely knitted garments filled with childhood memories.
Happy knitting ♡
