Baby Booties pattern

These cute baby booties can be knitted with or without ribbons - both versions are described in the pattern. They are knitted back and forth and then gently seamed along the sole and back for a perfect fit.

Thanks to the long cuff, the little shoes can be worn up to the knee or folded over as socks. Combined with the matching baby hat, jumper or wrap cardigan, they can be wonderfully put together to make a lovely baby set as a gift for the birth.

Easy knitting pattern for somewhat experienced beginners explained step-by-step with many photos.

What you should be able to do: knits and purls, pick up additional stitches, knit stitches together, crochet chain stitches if necessary (for the ribbon)

• LANGUAGE: English, German and French
• LEVEL: beginner
• SIZES: newborns 0-5 months
• YARN: 50g Cheeky Merino, Rosy Green Wool (100 % virgin wool Merino GOTS, LL 320 m/ 100g),
  alternatively any fine, 3 ply yarn
• NEEDLES: circular knitting needles 3.5 and 4.0 mm (US4-6), 60 cm long
  additional knitting needle 4.0 mm (US6), for the 3-needle bind-off
  crochet hook 3.0 - 4.0 mm (US4-6), for the ribbon
