Baby sleep sack pattern
Sleep sack knitting pattern
You will truly enjoy knitting this cosy baby sleep sack. It is worked bottom up in a simple moss stitch using knit and purl stitches and fastened with buttons. The ribbed section at the chest ensures a comfortable fit around your baby’s upper body without feeling restrictive. As the sleeping bag is knitted seamlessly in the round, it is also easy to make for beginners.
A lovely detail: paired with the matching baby blanket in the same stitch pattern, it creates a beautiful handmade set for a newborn.
For this snug sleep bag you should know the basics of knitting: Knit and purl stitches, increases, decreases by knitting stitches together, binding off, and making yarn overs for buttonholes.
