Baby trousers with straps

These adorable baggy baby trousers with straps are knitted almost seamless in the round from the top down. With short rows on the back for a comfortable fit. The legs are worked flat and seamed at the end. An easy beginner baby jumpsuit pattern, knit with circular needles only — cozy, cute and timeless for all seasons. Complete the look with the matching baby mittens.

All you need to know:
cast on, knit, purl, increases, decreaes, short rows (explained in the pattern), bind off and seaming

• LEVEL: beginners
• SIZES: preemies/newborn baby to toddlers 0-3 (3-6) 6-12 (12-18) 18-24 (24-36) months
  
• YARN: 100 (100, 150, 150, 200, 250)g Lovely Merino Treat von Rosy Green Wool (100% organic merino extra fine, GOTS), yardage 100g ~ 210m,
  
  alternatively: any DK, light worsted, 8 ply yarn matching gauge, e. g. 
  Bo Peep pure from West Yorkshire Spinners (100% Falkland Islands Wool),  50g ~ 112m,
  Rowan Alpaca Soft DK (70% merino/30% alpaca), yardage 50g ~ 125m
  
  
• NEEDLES: circular knitting needles 3.5mm (US4) and 4.0mm (US6), 40cm long (from size 18-24 months also 60cm)
