Knit a chunky baby vest with this easy knit baby vest pattern - a simple vest to tie for babies and toddlers. Consisting of 3 parts, this chunky vest is quick to knit in garter stitch and super easy for beginners. It combines particularly well with the mathing gnome hatto make a wonderful baby outfit or gift for birth. Both patterns are explained in detail with pictures.
To knit such a cozy infant sweater vest you just should be able to: cast on, knit and bind off stitches.
LEVEL: beginner
SIZES: 3 - 24 months
YARN: 150 - 350g Baby Alpaca Los Andes by Pascuali, yardage 100m ~ 100g or another 12 or 16 ply bulky yarn, alternatively, a thinner yarn just knitted double
NEEDLES: circular knitting needles in needle size 6.5 mm EU (US 10 / UK 4), 60 - 80 cm long
