Newborn sweater vest pattern
Baby vest pattern - wrap over west
A simple wrap vest for babies and toddlers in a cosy kimono style. Wonderfully practical, as it doesn’t need to be pulled over the head. With delicate ties, the knitted baby vest can be put on and taken off quickly and easily. It is worked entirely in knit stitches in one piece from the bottom up, so there is no need to seam the often tricky shoulders. A clear and easy-to-follow pattern, accompanied by plenty of step-by-step photos, guides you through almost every stitch :)
You can also knit a matching pair of baby mittens or booties to complete the newborn set.
For this little baby kimono vest you need the following basics of knitting: Picking up stitches, knit stitches, decreases, increases, and binding off.
